Quite a lush Pinot Gris in a medium/dry style. Tree fruit/pear flavours with lovely purity and intensity. Sweetness is balanced by acidity and very fine, barely perceptible tannins.

    Bob Cambell's Wine Reviews - Nov 2010

Quite a gutsy Pinot Gris in a medium/dry style although the finish is nearly dry thanks to fine tannins. Canned pear and pineapple fruit flavours derive extra complexity form yeast lees. There is also a very subtle oak influence

From the Bendigo district, it's nicely aromatic on the nose displaying golden apple, citrus and pear characters. The palate is medium-full and juicy with lovely texture and a touch of sweetness (7 g/l) which is well balanced by the acidity. A real smooth and fruit-intense Pinot Gris with a wide appeal. At its best: now to end of 2011. $29.00 14.5% Screw cap. www.rockferrywines.com. Dec 2010.

Sweet but not super-sweet style, certified organic and barrel-fermented, showing unusual richness and complexity. Highly scented, with lovely harmony of fresh peach, lemon and spice flavours, hints of honey and apricots, and good acid spine. Loads of personality. $29
