The golden skins of the 2014 Riesling fruit have been expressed on the nose as honeyed fruits & grilled almond, which complement the bright stonefruit nectar aromas of this wine. Allan used extended yeast lees contact time in tank, this provides plumpness to the palate which finishes bright, stony and dry.

Attractively scented... fleshy, it has ripe stonefruit and spice flavours, showing good concentration, and a finely textured. 4 Stars, Michael Cooper Buyer's Guide 2017.
The nose is soft and gently voluminous with deep aromas of lime fruit along with notes of honey, toast and minerals, indicating some secondary development. This has a fine and intense core that unfolds tangerine and exotic floral elements with aeration. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate features a tight and deep core with lime fruit and steely minerals, along with restrained notes of honey and toast. The mouthfeel is crisp and fresh with a firm, fine-textured, dry line, with brisk, underlying acidity. The wine has drive and carries to a long, lingering dry finish of limes, toast and minerals. This is a firm, tight and dry Riesling with lime flavours and hints of exotic fruits, complexed by the beginnings of secondary toast and mineral notes. Serve as an aperitif, and with seafood over the next 4 years. 18.0-/20 Oct 2016. Raymond Chan
Dry Riesling with green apple, oyster shell, mineral and lime zest flavours. A fresh, youthful wine with promising potential. Good food wine - try it with Bluff oysters garnished with lime juice. 29/10/2016. Drink 2016 to 2022. 4 Stars - Bob Campbell.
