An Introduction to Yoga on July 17th
This workshop will focus on foundational principles and theories for beginners and practiced yogis alike.
Ying and Yang on August 14th
A ying/yang workshop which will be themed around opposingenergies - building strength and heat through afiery vinyasa practice for the first half, and then finishing with arestorative yin practice for the final half. Expect to leave feeling balancedand re-centred throughout your body.
Yamas and Nivamas on August 21st
Learning the 5 Yamas and 5 Niyamas, how they pertain to our modern lives, with journaling and discussion.
Hip Mobility on September 11th
Focusing on range of movement and stability in the hips, and how to utilise important muscle groups for a mindful yoga practice.
Laura Rowe has been teaching yoga for 6 years. She fell in love with the practice in America over 10 years ago and has taught internationally through Australia and Southeast Asia while working in the wine industry. Recently making the move to call Marlborough home, Laura teaches a variety of styles from Power Vinyasa Flow to Yin.
Lydia Mossman first came to yoga looking fora more mindful form of movement and quickly became hooked. Lydia finished hertraining in Hatha Yoga in 2019 and has been teaching in Blenheim since. Herpractice has a big emphasis on breathing, and you can expect s blend ofrestorative and strengthening movement in Lydia’s classes.
