5 Star Summer Pack
Wairua plains, Marlborough, New Zealand.
Our aim in the vineyard is to grow the best fruit we can so it can speak of its home and express its personality. To do this you need healthy vines and soil. By practicing organics and incorporating some biodynamic principles we believe we are doing our best to help achieve this and let our vineyards evolve and speak as they would like. The 2020 vintage had a long, even ripening period, allowing us to pick at optimal ripeness.
Pinot Rosé - Our Rosé is a lovely salmon hue in the glass. The wine is refreshingly crisp with a vibrant juicy palate of wild berries and rock melon, and a gentle spice on the finish. This is the perfect wine to keep chilled and ready to share with summer fare and friends.
Pinot Gris - "Certified organic, this estate-grown wine is fleshy and full-bodied, with good complexity and a slightly creamy texture. Still unfolding, it is vibrantly fruity, with strong, ripe, stonefruit flavours to the fore, balanced acidity and a dryish, long finish." - Michael Cooper
Sauvignon Blanc - "Rock Ferry 3rd Rock Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2020 [4½ stars] This ripely scented wine was estate-grown at Rapaura, hand-picked and fermented in stainless steel tanks and a seasoned oak cuvee. Full-bodied, it has good concentration of lively, tropical fruit flavours, a touch of complexity, balanced acidity and a dry finish. Best drinking mid-2021+. Certified organic." - Winestate
Allan McWilliams & Jordan Hogg
