Our aim in the vineyard is to grow the best fruit we can so it can speak of its home and express its personality. To do this you need healthy vines and soil. By practicing organics and incorporating some biodynamic principles we believe we are doing our best to help achieve this and let our vineyards evolve and speak as they would like.
Tempranillo - This Tempranillo has vibrant aromas of earth, leather and dark berry fruits. The palate has notes of cassis, blackberries and plum. This is supported by a concentrated palate with ripe, supple tannins and a finish framed by toasty oak.
Pinot Noir - 2016 was a very good year for Central Otago and this allowed us to bottle unfiltered, meaning less interference and giving us great palate weight. The aroma is finely scented and shows an abundance of fruit with notes of wild herbs, dried fruit and sweet spices. The ﬂeshy palate has layers of complexity with finely structured tannins to the finish.
